Here we have an excellent example of a Victorian-era 9K Yellow Gold ring with a large opal solitaire. The center opal is placed evenly between two french decorative motifs. The shank tapers down from the head towards the shoulder. The center opal is approximately .98 carats with fantastic color play, displaying a blueish gray body color with vivid flashes of greens. This ring is in amazing condition for a 100+ year old ring and with a loving owner will make it another 100!
